Our work
We aim to increase access to improved childhood cancer treatment services in Uganda. This will in turn lead to increased rates of remission and provide care that preserves the dignity for all children suffering from cancer.
Because of our commitment to childhood cancer sufferers, we have structured programmes through which we provide care and support services to children undergoing treatment for cancer.
These include palliative care, subsidized medical support, transport support, bereavement support, education & play therapy, parent support groups, psychosocial support and counselling.
All these services are provided at no cost for the children and their care-givers.
Supportive care
We provide a home for the children with their care-giver to minimize costs.
Medical support
Funds raised benefit the children and their families by providing them with subsidized medical support.
Bereavement support
We try to provide whatever support we can to ease the burden during the period of bereavement.
